IBC Children of Antwerp worship with us every Sunday in the sanctuary, then move to a classroom where they are taught the Word of God, encouraged in their faith, and engaged in age appropriate ways to become strong believers.  We also hold occasional events, such as an annual children's day, to show our children their importance in the family of God.

 MISSION STATEMENT: 

Our Children’s Ministry exists to bring children into age-appropriate WORSHIP where they can BELONG to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ, learn to SERVE and then go SHARE Christ in the world. To prepare children to function as powerful spiritual leaders by becoming “Doers of The Word.” 

 

Through relationship with God and His Word, children will become masterful at; utilizing, obeying, recalling, believing, speaking, and praying The Word of God. Children will become spiritual warriors functioning in the unseen as well as in the seen in practical relationship with God and each other; obedient to God, hearing from Him, walking in love, anointed by God, utilizing spiritual gifts, and powerful in prayer. Through relationship with each other, children will become disciples taking others from where they are to where they need to be. In relationship with the world, children will also become Christ’s ambassadors; a powerful witness and source of His light and love on this planet.

 

 Our objective is to sow the seed of the Word of God into the hearts of the children. Our identity and overall theme is “DOERS OF THE WORD; The Word of God Taking Kids to God’s Purpose for Them on this Planet!” Do not merely listen to the Word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says! James 1:22
